DESCRIPTION

The Women’s Pearl Snap is what happens when you bring two female-led teams together. Crossbow founder, lead leathersmith, and apparel designer Macy Pryor works alongside Katelyn Woodburn of Street & Saddle, our Vancouver-based counterpart who brings her expertise in patterning and sewing to this women’s collection. Together, they kept the iconic silhouette and function of the classic pearl snap, then reworked the fit, fabric, and handcrafted details specifically for women.

The same design comes in two colorways with slightly different feels. Indigo and chocolate brown pair Tencel with viscose for a silky-soft feel, lightweight breathability, and an easy drape that moves with you. Camel and mauve are cut from lightweight Tencel for a smooth, breathable feel that’s naturally moisture-wicking and wrinkle-resistant. Both are finished with cream piping, classic pearl snap closures, and wildflowers chainstitched by hand by East Vancouver artist Sadie Gilker. Look closely and you’ll find Montana’s bitterroot, Colorado’s columbine, and a bluebell, a nod to the mountain landscapes that have shaped Crossbow.

Pair it with the Women’s Wrap Skirt, your favorite piece of jewelry, and a good pair of boots.
