DESCRIPTION

Smooth as butter, wildly supple, and destined to develop a rich patina with age, the Fringed Butter Bag is Crossbow to the core. This slouchy shoulder bag is cut from 3 oz. aniline-dyed cowhide — a process that preserves the hide’s natural grain and unique markings, requiring only the highest-quality, full-grain hides. The aniline dying process allows the leather to breathe, soften, and wear in beautifully, weaving your story into the life of the bag.

If the leather is spellbinding, the fringe is captivating. Sewn directly into the two front seams, the fringe accentuates your movements, flowing with you as you move through your day. Featuring generous dimensions for everyday essentials, an interior pocket for organization, a wide top opening with magnetic closure for effortless access, and a comfortable 1.5” strap that slings perfectly over a shoulder or chair, the Fringed Butter Bag is a testament to craftsmanship and Western design you’ll want to take with you everywhere.

Care
Aniline leather is designed to age beautifully and develop a rich patina over time. Because of that, it’s also more susceptible to staining and premature fading from sunlight. For routine care, wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, surface dirt, and body oil. Limit prolonged direct sunlight to slow fading and retain moisture in the hide. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. If the leather feels dry or loses some suppleness, apply a thin layer of leather conditioner (we recommend Bickmore's) with a clean microfiber cloth. Always clean and condition the entire bag or panel, never just the problem area. Less is more: condition only when needed.
