DESCRIPTION

The Women’s Roper Pearl Snap is what happens when you bring two female-led teams together. Crossbow founder, lead leathersmith, and apparel designer Macy Pryor works alongside Katelyn Woodburn of Street & Saddle, our Vancouver-based counterpart who brings her expertise in patterning and sewing to this women’s collection. It started with a shared love of the classic pearl snap—we kept the iconic silhouette and function, then reworked the fit and fabric and added handcrafted details specifically for women.

A softer take on the stiff pearl snaps you’d pull from the rack at your local feed store, lightweight camel and mauve Tencel is divided by cream piping for a smooth feel that’s gentle against the skin, breathable, moisture-wicking, and naturally wrinkle-resistant. Indigo blue Tencel meets chocolate brown viscose for a Roper that’s silky-soft against the skin, lightweight and breathable, with an easy drape that moves with you.  Pearl snap closures keep the traditional function intact, while wildflowers chainstitched by hand by East Vancouver artist Sadie Gilker add that final layer of detail. You’ll find Montana’s bitterroot, Colorado’s columbine, and a bluebell—a nod to the mountain landscapes that have shaped Crossbow.
